Michael B. Epstein
Prior to forming Nextgrowth, Michael was a Partner and the National leader of consulting and deals services for the PricewaterhouseCooper's (PwC) Private Company Services practice. This experience has allowed Michael to work with and observe some of the ‘best’ privately owned businesses in the country. Before joining PwC, Michael was the Managing Partner of a mid-market CA and consulting firm specializing in providing business advisory services to privately-owned companies. Michael has over 30 years of experience in helping privately-owned companies, many of whom are family owned-managed, with strategic planning, business acquisitions and divestitures, corporate finance and raising debt and/or equity capital.

For the past 20 years, Alex has been a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and management in executing corporate acquisitions, divestitures, management buyouts, valuations, capital raising and strategic advisory. Prior to Nextgrowth, Alex was the founder of Blacklight Capital, a M&A advisory company focused on Canadian privately held mid market companies. Alex has also co-led the corporate finance group of Fuller Landau LLP. He has also worked in the M&A and Investment Banking Group of HSBC Securities and in the Transactional Support Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
